Tucked along the banks of the Chattahoochee River in the sought-after White Rapids Community of Demorest, this is the kind of place you feel the moment you step onto the front porch — where the sound of the river rushing past replaces the noise of everyday life. Set on a rare 4-acre parcel, the property is framed by a spring and a creek that come to a point off either side of the front yard and feed the river below, wrapping the home in natural beauty and true seclusion.
The Chattahoochee is your backyard playground: cast a line for the day's catch, or push off for an afternoon of canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. Wildlife lovers will never tire of the view. Just across from the community's river access sits Buck Shoals State Park, complete with private beach access — an everyday escape most people only dream about.
Inside, the home blends comfort with thoughtful updates, including a beautifully updated kitchen with a glass cook countertop and fiber optic internet for seamless work-from-home living. Cozy evenings come easy, too — the home is already set up for a wood-burning stove or fireplace whenever you're ready to add one. The main level features a spacious primary suite complete with an updated bathroom. Upstairs you will find two generous sized guest rooms.
While it feels a world away, convenience is never far. You're just minutes from Cornelia and Hwy 23 — Walmart, Chick-fil-A, TJ Maxx, Lowe's and more — plus a short drive to your choice of golf courses and the Chattahoochee National Forest. Helen, Dahlonega, and Lake Lanier in Gainesville are all within a 15–30 minute drive. Whether you use this as your own personal home or a short term rental property, memories are bound to be made.
This is peace and tranquility without a single sacrifice — the privacy, the serenity, the space — all in one secluded setting along the river. Homes like this don't come along often. Don't let it slip through your fingers.
